Please find attached the current Evidence of Cover for the period 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2027.

This policy provides a range of benefits to members while:

  • on the premises of any golf club
  • playing golf
  • or representing the club in golf-related activities

Am I automatically covered as a member?
Yes, all registered members are covered under the policy, subject to the terms and conditions outlined in the document.

Does this cover me when playing away from the club?
Yes,  the cover applies while playing at any golf club, not just within our own course.

What is the limit on golf equipment cover?
Up to €4,000 for golf equipment, with specified limits for items such as clothing and GPS/electronic devices.

Is there an excess on claims?
Yes, there is a standard excess of €50 (or €100 for GPS/electronic golfing aids).

Am I covered if I injure someone or damage property?
Yes, personal liability cover is included, with a limit of indemnity of €2.6 million per occurrence, subject to policy terms.

What happens if I get injured while playing?
The policy includes personal accident cover, which provides specified benefits depending on the nature of the injury.

Is there a hole-in-one prize included?
Yes, if you achieve a hole-in-one in an official competition, the policy provides a contribution towards bar expenses or a set benefit.
